You have to go all the way back to February 18th, 2020 to find the last time the boys JV basketball team lost a non-league game. On that date, the JV boys basketball team dropped a non-league game at Ann Arbor Central Academy. Since that game, the team has won 18 consecutive non-conference games that spans over three full seasons. That streak came to an end at the hands of Lumen Christi, as the Titans pulled away to win 43-30 in the winter break contest on Friday night.

Points were difficult to come by, however the defensive effort kept the Redwolves in the game. Trailing by just 2 points early in the 4th quarter, Lumen Christi went on a run to open the game up for the victory. The story of the night was the three point shooting, as Lumen Christi made six three point field goals to the Redwolves' zero. 

The loss drops the boys' record to 5-3 overall and 1-2 in the LCAA. The team will look to get back on track next Friday, January 5th as they will travel to Hudson to face the Tigers in an LCAA contest.
