In the Holiday Hoops Tournament hosted by Britton-Deerfield, the Clinton JV basketball team came away with first round victory over Whitmore Lake by a score of 63-28. The Redwolves and Trojans would battle through the first quarter, with the Redwolves eventually taking a 10-8 lead after the first quarter.

Clinton would eventually take control of the game during the second quarter as they opened up a 28-14 halftime lead. There would be more of the same in the second half as all nine player saw plenty of game action in this contest.

Cole Hillegonds led the team in the scoring column with 16 points while Dacari Garrison and Louie Della-Badia each reached double figures in this one with 15 and 11 points respectively. Owen Barnhart and Ronan Stelzer each chipped in with 6 points and Broden Manchester added 5 points. 

The JV boys team will take on the host team, Britton-Deerfield, in the Holiday Hoops Tournament Championship on Wednesday with a start time of 7:00PM.
