TECUMSEH HIGH SCHOOL: 33
The boys JV basketball team traveled to Tecumseh on Monday night and came out with a hard fought 39-33 win to improve to 2-0 on the season.
The Redwolves trailed at the end of the first quarter by a score of 12-4. Dacari Garrison hit back to back triples to spring some life into the Redwolves offense in the second quarter to help close the gap to 18-13 at intermission. The defense continued to hold serve in the second half, while Louie Della-Badia and Ronan Stelzer started to find their rhythm on the offensive end to help the team take a lead they would never relinquish. Timely buckets late in the game by Cole Hillegonds kept the Redwolves in front until the final horn.
The team will now look towards their first league game of the season on Friday at Hillsdale.
