The boys junior varsity team picked up their first victory of the season in impressive fashion, outscoring Whitmore Lake 60-22 when the final horn sounded.  The win improved their record to (1-2, 1-0 TCC). 

The Redskins were able to get much needed, valuable minutes, for the entire roster Friday night.  The boys jumped out to an impressive 20-3 lead in the first four minutes of the game. To look up and see that the Redskins put up 20 points in the first four minutes of the game was eye-popping.  The defense tonight was equally impressive, holding the Trojans to single digits in each quarter, and forcing 12 turnovers, many of which led to points on the offensive end.  

Ten of the 13 players who dressed for the game scored, led by Jacob Huddleston's 14 points.  Makai Cruz continued his hot start to the season and scored in double figures for the third consecutive game, finishing with 11 points.  Davey Campbell had his best game of the season, also reaching double figures, and finishing with 10 points to go with his 6 steals, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds.  Freshman, Zach Kovach, coming off of an ankle injury that set him back last week, came off the bench to see his first action of the season, and finished with 8 points.  

The Redskins will be be back in action at home on Tuesday, December 11th, as they will welcome Petersburg-Summerfield for a 5:30PM tip.
