On defense Clinton held Onsted to -20 yards rushing and 131 passing yards.  Leading tackler on the night was Joey Preston with 8 and Zak Shadley with 6.  Andy Fair and Coy Perry each had interceptions.  Max Stitt and Zak Shadley had fumble recoveries on kickoffs.  Coy Perry had a perfectly timed hit for a pass break up that Cole Breitenwischer nearly intercepted.  Brandon Felts broke up a pass from the defensive line as well.  Both Teddy Pizzio and Connor Younts had quarterback sacks on the night.  There were nine different Redwolves who compiled tackles for losses on the night starting with Max Stitt and Cole Breitenwischer having three apiece.  Nate Smith, Wyatt Hicks, and Jake Felts each had two apiece.  While Jacob Gilson, Jack Gilroy, and Joey Preston each had one apiece.

The offensive player of the game was Joey Preston for his blocking, fakes, and tough runs.  Defensive Player of the Game was Max Stitt for his hustle and constant pressure on the quarterback.  Special Teams Player of the Week was Wyatt Hicks for stepping in and doing a good job kicking.  Red Army Player of the Week was Andy Fair for constantly stepping in anywhere he is needed.  This week the team travels to Hillsdale on Friday night Oct. 14th at 7pm.  Hillsdale has canceled their JV football season for multiple reasons.  We are actively seeking to find a replacement game, but at this time we do not have a JV game for Hillsdale week.  If something changes we will communicate that as soon as we can.  Thank you for your continued support.
