COLUMBIA CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 6
The Clinton varsity football team rushed for over 520 and held Columbia Central to just 69 yards and two first downs to win 54-6 in an LCAA contest.
Sophomore Bradyn Lehman led the charge with 173 on 13 carries and four touchdowns, while Brayden Randolph ran for 155 yards on 16 carries. Jack Voll added 63 yards on 11 carries, while George Ames rushed for 60 yards on just three carries and one touchdown.
Randolph paced the defense with 12 tackles, while Ames had a key interception in the second quarter to keep CC off the scoreboard.
Of Columbia Central’s 69 yards of offense, 39 was accounted for on one play on a long touchdown run in the third quarter. The secondary of Ames, Ridge Ahrens, Davey Campbell, and Derek Tomalak was solid in coverage all night, which allowed the defensive line to pressure the opposing quarterback.
