In game 2 , Sophomore Eric Briggs took the mound in his Varsity pitching debut and was excellent . Briggs went 3 strong innings giving up just 2 hits and 2 runs . Fellow Sophomore Tommy Burt came through with a clutch 2 out bases loaded double to give the Redskins a 6-2 lead in the top of the 5th inning . Dylan Settles was 1/2/1RBI and Nick Svenson 1/3 at the plate . Freshmen Derek Tomalak picked up the save in pitching relief . Clinton Improves to 4-1 on the season.
