Clinton Varsity was able to travel to Adrian High School for their county tournament.  They had a tough pool of: Tecumseh, LCS, and Morenci.  Clinton went 0-2-1 in pool play splitting with Morenci then taking on the #2 D4 ranked LCS team in the quarterfinals.  Clinton took them to 23-25 in the first game then fell 8-25 in the second game.

Clinton kill leader on the day is Kaylee Kranz with 34 kills, 18 digs, 13 points, and 16 serve receive passes, Josilyne Schanz had 14 aces, 8 kills, 8 digs, 22 points while Brynn Frederick had 19 digs, 18 serve receive passes.  Madalyn Freitas had 10 kills, 23 digs, 16 serve receive passes while Sophia Sheneman had 13 digs, 9 points, and 25 serve receive passes.  Noelle had 3 kills, 11 digs, and 18 points 33 serve receive passes while Lauren Sheneman had 8 kills with Nalani Schanz directing the offense with 56 assists, 15 digs, 6 points. Before leaving the day with injury Mackenzie Brandvold had 5 digs, 3 points, 4 serve receive passes and Taylor Randolph 3 digs and 13 serve receive passes. 

Clinton had some great plays and work in the day.  We saw tons of growth and during the day.  Clinton Coach Melissa Loftis stated, "We worked hard at times and were able to complete against Tecumseh and top ranked LCS which is amazing to see!"  Clinton's Kaylee Kranz was names to the All-county tournament team voted on by the county coaches.  What a great honor for her and the Redwolves!

Clinton travels to Hillsdale on Tuesday, then CC on Wednesday to play them in their pink out game both starting at 5:30 pm.
