Clinton hosted LCAA Blissfield tonight in their first game of the week and came out victorious winning 3-1!

Clinton Coach Melissa Loftis, was proud of how the team responded after the first game. Clinton came right back to push Blissfield back on their toes after a tough game one. Serving and passing tonight was stronger and hitters kept the ball in play, forcing Blissfield to make the play back. Coach Loftis stated, "we have been working on not compounding a bad play with another and really focus on getting the ball in!"  While the hitting percent isn't what we want the overall serving, passing, and our setter, Nalani getting to the ball is really coming together.

Serving as a team was % while serve was at % a season high. Defense came up huge in the game with Sophia Sheneman leading the way with 28 digs, 13 serve receive, and 7 points while Madi Freitas had 20 digs, 22 serve receive, 9 kills, and one ace. Nalani Schanz had 38 assists, 8 digs, and 5 serving points.  Josilyne Schanz had 23 serving points, 4 aces, 6 kills, and 6 digs. Kaylee Kranz had 16 kills, 10 digs, 5 points, and 10 serve receive balls.  Mackenzie Brandvold had 6 kills, 7 digs, 9 points while Lauren Sheneman had 3 kills and Taylor Randolph had 7 digs and 11 serve receive passes.  Noelle Riley round us off with 3 serving points. 

There record is now 8-5-1 and will hosted Dundee on Tuesday for the annual Pink Out Cancer game!  Wear pink, come eat great snacks, and come win a basket to support a good cause!,
