Clinton hosted their first LCAA contest today against Columbia Central. There were many long plays and rallies but Clinton came out 0-3 against a quick moving CC team. Scores on the night were 21-25, 19-25, 19-25. 
 

Team serving was 89% and hitting was .222 which is a strong team hitting percent. Our varsity girls will work to control the ball on serve receive, work to focus and end long rallies, as well as end the run quicker. 
Leading defense tonight was Ashlyn Schmidt with 17 digs and 8 good serve receive, Tess Woerner had 13 digs and 11 serve receive passes. Sophia Sheneman contributed 9 digs and 10 serve receive. Hitting was lead by Lena Korte with 11 kills (.346), MacKenzie Brandvold had 7 kills while Josilyne Schanz and Noelle Riley each had 4 kills and Noelle with 5 blocks. Leading with Karlee Szczesniak has 20 assists, 6 serving points while Nalani Schanz had 6 with 5 points.
