Clinton traveled to Adrian High School for their annual County Tournament.  Clinton was placed in the pool with top ranked Onsted, Tecumseh, and Morenci.  Clinton beat Tecumseh 26-24 and 25-20 and Morenci 25-17 and 25-12 but lost to Onsted 7-25 and 23-25.  Coming out of pool play Clinton lost in three sets to Hudson with scores of 17-25, 26-24, 6-15.

Clinton played hard and worked with a new line up and illness on the team.  Clinton  had a team serving of 93% and team hitting that is .159%.  Leading the team with kills was Megyn Arntz with 25 kills, 8 blocks, and 18 serving points.  Jaecy Jones had 32 digs, 15 points, and 29 serve receive passes while Ashlyn Schmidt had 21 digs, 29  serve receive passes and fought a minor injury to her thumb.  Karlee Szczesniak had 67 assists, 15 serving points, and 9 digs while Tess Woerner had 17 kills, 13 digs, 12 points, and 29  serve receive passes. Lena Korte had 15 kills, 2 blocks, and 7 serve receive passes while Samanth Renaldi had 10 kills, 3 blocks, 21 digs, 20 points, and 19  serve receive passes.  Josilyn Schanz had 6 kills, 8 points, 3 blocks, and 4 digs.  

Clinton had great chemistry and kept a positive attitude pushing teams previously played deeper in the game.  They fought together and pushed each other to conitnue to do more.  Clinton is 18-15-2 overall and 6-3 in TCC.

Clinton will host Summerfield for a double header on Tuesday, October 22 with both JV and Varsity starting at 5 pm.  Senior/Parent night festivities will take place between the two varsity games.
