Clinton Varsity traveled to Summerfield for a double header in the TCC. They lost the first match in three sets with scores 15-25, 19-25, 18-25.  The girls rallied back to push Summerfield to five sets with scores of 25-16, 27-29, 25-14, and 18-25, and 9-15.

Coach Loftis stated, "The girls came out a little flat footed on offense and defense but had good rallies to push Summerfield to their limit in a few matches".  Clinton team serving percent was 88% and with a team goal of 93% we needs to be more confident and push our serves to score more points.

Leading Clinton tonight with digs was Payton Blaze with 28 digs, 6 points, 37 serve receive passes while Rilee Szczesniak had 24 digs, 2 aces, 16 points, and 26 serve receive passes.  Breece Phillips had 16 digs and 26 serve receive passes on the night. Megyn Artnz had 11 blocks, 16 kills, 8 digs, and 5 points.  Lindsey Burton had 5 kills and 3 blocks.  Brianna Burton had 19 kills while Tess Woerner had 9 kills, 2 blocks, and 3 aces, and 10 points.  Saydie Starnes had 17 kills, 4 blocks, 6 points, and 10 serve receive passes.  Sam Renaldi had 2 kills, a block, and 6 serve receive passes. Setting us up for attacks was Ali Elwart with 45 assists, 6 aces, 26 points, and 15 digs.  Karlee Szczesniak also added 10 assists and 5 digs on night. 

Clinton will travel to Whitmore Lake on Thursday to play another TCC match.  JV starts at 5:00 and Varsity will follow right after.
