Clinton Varsity Volleyball traveled to Onsted today for their tournament.  Clinton came out early today and played hard!  They split the 1st game with Onsted 27-26 and then 16-25.  They then went on to take both games from Hillsdale Academy 25-14 and 25-22 as well as Addison 25-18 and 25-20.  They went 5-1 in pool play.  Coming out of pool play the Clinton Redskins play Hudson loosing 23-25 and 14-25.

Today the Redskins had their best tournament hitting percent at .205.  The day was a total team effort with improvements in the areas we focused on during the week!  Leading the day with kills was Brianna Burton with 19 kills, 2 blocks, 8 digs, and 4 serving points.  Megyn Artnz had 18 kills, 4 blocks, 5 digs, 5 aces, and 14 points while Saydie Starnes also had 18 kills, 2 blocks, 7 aces, 17 points, 7 digs, and 23 serve receive passes.  Tess Woerner had 11 kills, 1 block, and 4 points while Lindsey Burton had 9 kills and 12 blocks.  Ali Elwart had 49 assists, 3 kills, 12 digs, 5 aces, and 17 points.  Karlee Szczesnisk had 26 assists and 5 blocks. Passing the balls up for our hitters were: Breece Phillips with 28 digs, 5 aces, 11 points, and 16 serve receive passes.  Rilee Szczesniak had 31 digs, 6 points, and 18 serve receive passes.  Payton Blaze led the passing with 49 digs, 4 aces, 18 points, and 43 serve receive passes. 

Clinton hosts Sand Creek on Tuesday starting 5:15 pm with JV followed by Varsity in their first TCC home game of the year.  They are 8-10-3 and look to push closer to .500 on Tuesday.
