Clinton beat Tecumseh 8-2 in the season opener.  Aubrey Lauer scored the first goal of the night on a through ball from Kayler Reiser six minutes into the game.  Lauer scored her second goal 2 minutes later.  Tecumseh scored their first goal 17 minutes into the half.  With 11 minutes left in the half Lauer scored off the punt from Jackie Whiting.  Two minutes later Anna Schaffner passed to Lauer scoring her first hattrick of the night.  With 1.22 seconds left in the half Tecumseh scored off a PK.  At the half the game was 4-2.  Anna Schaffner started the second half with a goal from a corner kick.  Reiser brought the ball from the width and passed the ball to Lauer who scored with 25 minutes left in the half.  Schaffner and Lauer moved the ball through the center and Aubrey Lauer scored with 9 minutes left in the game.  Schaffner scored the final goal of the game on a free kick with 44 seconds left in the game.  Cylee Elkins, Eden Frederick, Lily Trubiano, Makayla Whitehead, and Dalia Albashir played outstanding defense.  Anna Schaffner, Allison Bowles, and Emma Shankland moved the ball and kept the team on the attack. Jackie Whiting had 6 saves.
