Clinton beat Columbia Central 2-1 in the back to back game at the Eagles tournament. Eli Turner threw the ball in to find Broden Manchester who headed the ball scoring the first goal of the game 9 minutes into the game. Ten minutes later Sam Schaffner put the ball through to Ian Bacha who scored with 10 minutes left in the half. At half the game was 2-0. Columbia Central scored with 15 minutes left in the half making the game 2-1. Clinton fought through exhaustion and finished the game strong. Outstanding defense by Jalen Stelzer, Eli Turner, Cole Hillegonds, and Brodie Stipe. Aiden Blom had 6 saves. With this win Clinton wins the Columbia Central tournament. Clinton plays Hillsdale at home at 5:30 Monday for the LCAA league opener.
