NORTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL: 1.00
Clinton beat Jackson Northwest 2-1. Northwest struck first with 28 minutes left in the first half. Five minutes later Mattis Riddle headed the ball to the post and Parker Baughey put the ball in the back of the net. At half the game was tied 1-1. With ten minutes left in the game Broden Manchester took the corner and Mattis Riddle collected it to score the game winner of the night. Max Hampel, Samson Schaffner and Broden Manchester played patient and possessive midfield giving the team offensive drive and possession. Defensively, Sam Erickson, Jalen Stelzer, Bryce Wyman, Brodie Stipe, and Eli Turner played smart defense to keep the ball out of the goal and putting us back on offense. Aiden Blom had 3 saves in goal. Clinton plays again Tuesday at Blissfield at 5:30.
