Clinton wins the Columbia Central Soccer Invite on Saturday.  At 9am Clinton play Hillsdale and tied them 2-2.  Jimmy Schaffner started the morning off with the first goal of the game on a thru ball from Max Hampel.  Hillsdale came back and scored 6 minutes later.  In the second half Hillsdale scored again with 15 minutes left in the half.  Jalen Stelzer picked up the last goal of the game after it came out of the 18 and scored in the lower left tying up the game.

Clinton play Stockbridge next with Jacob Rothman scoring from Eli Turners throw in.  Mattis Riddle scored with a rebound shot with Parker Baughey setting him up.  Sam Quintana passed the ball from the width to set up Samson Schaffner.  Robert McDonald dropped the ball backto SSchaffner to make the game 4-0.  Max Hampel crosses the ball to Schaffner to score his hattrick.  Brodie Stipe kicks the ball on a free kick that sets up Max Hampel .  Samson Schaffner finds Jimmy Schaffner thru the center to score Clinton's last goal of the night.  Stockbridge scored on a PK in the last 30 seconds of the game.  

Clinton played Columbia Central next.  Jalen Stelzer set up Angel Rubio to score the first goal of the game 11 minutes in.  Samson Schaffner sets up Angel Rubio to score his second goal of the game 24 minutes into the half.  Mattis Riddle and Angel Rubio give and go and Angel scores his hattrick with 3 minutes left in the game.

Clinton plays again on Monday at 5:00 at Leslie.
