Clinton lost the season opener in a hard fought battle 0-2 against SMCC. SMCC scored on a corner kick with 13 minutes left in the first half. SMCC scored their second goal with 11 minutes left in the game. The Redwolves possessed well and moved the ball well throughout the field. They battled hard for the entire game. Aiden Blom had 8 saves. Clinton plays again Saturday at the Columbia Central Tournament starting at 9am.
