In the season opener Clinton battled SMCC but fell short with the loss 0-2. SMCC scored with 12 minutes left in the first half on a corner kick. They scored again with 11 minutes left in the game. The team possessed and moved the ball well and battled the entire game. Aiden Blom had 8 saves.Clinton plays again in the Columbia Central tournament Saturday starting at 9am.
