Clinton opened the season with the Jackson Christian Royals Cup.  Clinton started the day off with the win against Leslie 6-0,  Parker Baughey started the day off with the goal 5 minutes in the game with an assist from Mattis Riddle.  Ryan Tschirhart scored the next goal off a goalie drop.  Merrik Gibson scored with 8 mintes left in the half with an assist from defender Bryce Wyman.  Ryan Tschirhart scored the 4th goal in the first half on a PK.  Merrik Gibson scores his second goal of the day off of the goalie 10 minutes into the half.  With 7 minutes left in the game Max scored with an assist from Merrik Gibson.  Brandon Mannlein had 2 saves.

Clinton played Dansville in the championship.  Dansville scored 9 minutes in the first half.  Sam Erickson brought the ball up from defense, Samson Schaffner picked it up and set up the assist with Ryan Tschirhart scoring with 7 minutes left in the game.  The game was 1-1 at half and neither team scored in the second half.  Sam Erickson had 1 save and Brandon Mannlein had 12 saves.  The teams went into a shootout with Merrik Gibson, Parker Baughey, Weston Fortney scoring their PKs and Brandon Mannlein coming up HUGE with 2 saves and one soaring over the goal giving Clinton the championship!
