COLUMBIA CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 1
Clinton beat Columbia Central 5-1. The first goal of the night was scored by Scott with the assist from Sylas Montgomery 12 minutes into the game. Three minutes later Merrik Gibson passes to Robenson Schaffner and he scores. Merrik Gibson comes up with another assist for Handy to score. Game is 3-0 at half. 12 minutes into the second half Robenson Schaffner takes a corner kick and Sylas Montgomery puts another one in for Clinton. CC scores with 8 minutes left in the game but Clinton comes back Handy playing the ball to Merrik Gibson and Gibson gets the last goal of the night. Mannlein had 3 keeper saves. JSchaffner, Wyman, Chavez and Fortney protected the goal and moved the ball onto offense. Clinton plays again Saturday at Onsted at 12:00.
