The Lady Redskins traveled to East Jackson in a non-league tilt Friday night and came away with a hard fought victory by the score of 46-41. "Wow, we needed this win tonight. The team got tested early in the season on how to climb out of a hole and learn how to win a close game. We could only manage a bucket in the 1st quarter, so we were down 8-2 (played pretty good defense). Then we were down 7 heading into the fourth quarter. We outscored them 22-10. Awesome TEAM win. The ladies, stayed composed and were able to do some things very well, as our press was able to produce many easy buckets in transition tonight." stated Coach Ramos.  "We still have things to continue to work on, but this was a what we needed. We travel to Blissfield on Tuesday and we will have to be ready to go." commented Coach Ramos. The win moves our record to 1-1.
