MANCHESTER HIGH SCHOOL: 72
The Lady Redskins opened their season up with a matchup of crosstown rivals of Manchester, the Lady Dutch. The Dutch applied pressure early and often, which for some reason stymied the Redskins most of the night. The Lady Dutch won the game 72-34. "We just looked like a deer in headlights tonight and that is on me as the Coach. Although, we work hard on those parts of the game, they just didn't show up tonight." "We've got a few practices to clean up some areas that need attention before we head to East Jackson this coming Friday," stated Coach Ramos. "We will be ready to get after it Friday night".
