The Stockbridge Panthers, boasting an impressive 12-3 record, traveled to Clinton on Tuesday night to take on a determined Redwolves team. Though the Panthers’ size and physicality ultimately secured the win, the Redwolves fought fiercely all night, making the game a hard-fought battle from start to finish.

Coming off a game the previous night, the Redwolves struggled to find their offensive rhythm early. Shots wouldn’t fall in the opening quarter, and the Panthers used their physical presence in the paint to establish an early lead. Despite their slow start, Clinton’s defense worked hard to keep the game within striking distance.

In the second quarter, the Redwolves settled in and began to fight back. With better ball movement and sharp defensive stops, they chipped away at the Panthers’ lead. Senior, Jalen Stelzer, ignited the offense with key buckets, helping Clinton cut the deficit to just 24-19 by halftime.

The second half saw both teams trading blows as the Redwolves stayed within striking distance. But the Panthers leaned on their size and depth to wear Clinton down in the final stretch. With some last minute free throws the Panthers pulled away, netting a 62-50 victory.  Throughout the game the Redwolves showcased their resilience and ability to play with some of the best basketball teams in Southeast Michigan.
