In a dominant 66-19 victory over the Manchester Flying Dutchmen, the Clinton Redwolves boys varsity basketball team showcased exceptional balance and teamwork, with multiple players contributing to the offensive end. Junior forward Eli Turner led the scoring with 14 points, while Seniors Andy Fair, Calen Keith, and Jalen Stelzer each added 11 points. The balanced scoring didn’t stop there; as four additional Redwolves' players found themselves in the scoring column. Clinton's defense was equally as impressive, limiting Manchester to just 19 points for the game. The Redwolves’ unselfish ball movement, which resulted in open shots for nearly everyone on the floor, was a key factor in their impressive first-half performance, as they led 41-7 at the break. The momentum continued in the 3rd quarter as Clinton was able to grow their lead to 51-9 after 24 minutes of play. Looking ahead, the 1-0 Redwolves aim to continue their winning ways against Tecumseh, at home, this upcoming Tuesday, Dec. 3rd at 7pm.
