The Clinton Redskins ran into a buzz-saw at Whiteford on Tuesday night, dropping the contest 77-41. Clinton hung tough in the first, battling foul trouble early, ending the quarter in a 17-17 tie. Things changed in the 2nd quarter, as Whiteford ramped up the pressure, causing turnovers. They outscored the Redskins 26-1 in the second, taking a 43-18 halftime lead.

"We played well in the first quarter and battled our way out of some foul trouble. I'm not sure what happened in the second quarter, other than we got flustered with their pressure which led to some turnovers and easy points by them. It was tough to stop the snowball effect once it started," Coach Jordan Kelly commented.

Clinton was led by Mitchell Drabicki scoring 13 points. Collin Stapnowski added 8 points.

The Redskins host Sand Creek on Friday night. It will be "Youth Night", and all boys Youth teams will be recognized at half time of the varsity game.
