The Clinton Redskins hosted a tough team on Thursday night, falling to Summerfield 58-43. The Redskins jumped out to an early lead, and the score was tied 12-12 at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter proved to be the difference, as the visiting Bulldogs outscored the home team, 21-8 to take the halftime lead 33-20.

"We just didn't play like ourselves in that second quarter. The game got away from us because we didn't rebound as well as we needed to, and we didn't take care of the ball," Coach Kelly said. "We played tentative, which was a surprise, because we are used to playing aggressive. Credit Summerfield for having a hand in making us play that way."

Justin Felts led the way with 20 points and 4 rebounds. Steven Fortney added 8 points, Clark Nelson 7 points and 4 steals. Robbie Campbell had a nice game with 5 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.

The Redskins are back in action for a road contest at Morenci on Tuesday, Dec. 19th.
