The Redwolves Girls Track and Field team traveled to MITCA Team States on Saturday. They qualified for the event for the first time in school history. The boys qualified previously in 2014.

Samantha Coots won the title in the 800m run with a time of 2:26.24 in a challenging race coming back from being boxed in at the start and winning by over 1.5 seconds versus Myleigh Hephner from Ithaca. 

Other top 10 finishes include Allison Bowles who was second in the 3200m and third in the 1600m runs, Morgan Hill who was second in the high jump, Kaylie Livingston who was fourth in the discus, the 4x800 team of Sarah King, Cylee Elkins, Bowles and Coots who finished 4th, the 4x100 team of Summer Chandler, Katelyn Baker, Madi McGraw, and Bella Bannon who finished sixth, and Bannon also finished seventh in the high jump.

Personal bests were earned by the following athletes: Caelin Major (100m and long jump), Bella Bannon (400m), Gabby Cordova (shot put), Izzy Szubielak (shot put), and Annabelle Howard (discus).
