On Saturday, May 11, the Redwolves Track and Field Team traveled to the Erie Mason Invitational. The meet was run simulating Regional meet conditions and no team scoring was used. There were 12 teams participating in the event, several of whom will be in the field when Clinton goes to Regionals.

For the men, Mason Brodie won the shot put with a distance of 52'-0.25". Mason also finished 2nd in the discus to Teegan Simmons of Monroe. Also winning medals at the meet were the 4x100 relay team of Brenden Benschoter, Angel Rubio, Nick Spicer, Eric Ramsey (3rd), Lucas Goodman (4th - 800m with a new PR), Gabe Manchester (4th - 3200m and 6th - 1600m with new PR's in each), Brenden Benschoter (6th - long jump and 6th - 200m with a new PR), and Eli Turner (6th - high jump). Also with new personal bests were Luis Piatt (400m), Brody Wenn (400m), Justin Celmer (800m), Hudson Miller (800m), Zach Taylor (1600m), Jack Morgan (1600m), and Peter Baker (300m hurdles).

For the women, earning medals were Samantha Coots (2nd - 800m), Bella Bannon (2nd - high jump and 6th - 400m), Cylee Elkins (3rd - 800m with a new PR), Kaylie Livingston (3rd - discus), Morgan Hill (3rd - high jump), the 4x100m relay team of Summer Chandler, Katelyn Baker, Madi McGraw, and Ashlynn Phillips (4th), Summer Chandler (5th - 100m with a new PR in the prelims), the 4x400m relay team of Bella Bannon, Cylee Elkins, Emerald Sierer, and Samantha Coots (5th), Madi McGraw (6th - 200m with a new PR). Also with new personal bests were Kiliann Connors (200m), Annika Schmittlein (200m), Emerald Sierer (800m), Zoey Utz (100m hurdles and 300m hurdles), Morgan Huggins (300m hurdles), Gabby Cordova (shot put), and Ryan Handy (pole vault).

This coming Saturday, May 18, is the Region 26 meet at Madison High School with field events beginning at 9:00.
