The Clinton JV Football team was able to finish their 2026 conference schedule unbeaten on Monday, October 19th with a big win at Adrian Madison. After a slow start on offense, Clinton’s defense would come up with a huge forced fumble by Bennett Spicer, and a recovery from Cayden Cook, that their offense would turn into points. Brady Ahlers would score on a 14 yard run, and Noah Jenkins would complete a pass to Ahlers for the 2 point conversion. Adrian Madison would respond with a touchdown and two point conversion of their own making the score 8 to 8. The Redwolves would respond very quickly after a long kickoff return by Ahlers to the 9 yard lines, he would find the endzone again on a 4 yard run, and Jenkins would take the two point in himself, making the score 16 to 8. Clinton’s Henry Vershum would recover a kickoff, Madison’s defense would stand strong and get the ball back, and score on a long pass, but Clinton’s David Winters would break up the two point try bringing the score to 16 to 14. Right before the end of the half, Jenkins would scramble and find Cook in the back of the endzone for a 15 yard pitch and catch touchdown, Ahlers would add the two point conversion, making the score 24 to 14 at half time. Madison would receive the opening kickoff of the second half and drive all the way down to the 10 yard line, where Clinton’s Aiden Hall would get an interception giving the Redwolves the ball back on the 4 yard line. Clinton’s offense would put together a fantastic 96 yard drive, capped off by a short touchdown run from Brayden Lauer. Madison’s next offensive drive was cut short by a 39 yard pick 6 from Grant Talaga. Madison would return the scoring favor with a touchdown of their own on their next drive. Ahlers was not done yet, as he would score on a 48 yard run. The Trojans would respond quickly, but the Clinton offense would finish the game in victory formation and walk away victorious by a score of 42 to 28. The JV Redwolves will be back in action at home on Saturday, October 24th at 10 am, as Monroe Jefferson comes to town.
