By Payne Staton | Sep 15, 2026 11:42 AM

Clinton’s Junior Varsity football team continued their season on Monday night against the Vikings of Dundee. The Redwolves opened the scoring rather quickly, scoring on their first play from scrimmage on a 59 yard touchdown run by Brady Ahlers giving them an early lead. On Dundee’s first drive Aiden Hall would intercept and return it all the way for an 81 yard pick six, Ahlers would add the two point making the score 14 to 0. Clinton would get the ball back and march down the field scoring again on a 4 yard touchdown run by Noah Jenkins and another two point conversion from Ahlers making the score 22 to 0. The Redwolves would score on the following offensive drive, this time from Brayden Lauer on a 33 yard scamper, and Jenkins would complete a pass to Bennett Spicer for the point after. Clinton would not be done scoring quite yet, as Jenkins would complete a pass to Ahlers and he would take it all the way, scoring yet another touchdown. The point after would be good from Lauer and the Redwolves would take a 38 to 0 lead to half time. After halftime, the Redwolves would not be done scoring quite yet and in fact the defense would score on back to back offensive plays from the Vikings. The first of these scores on a strip and return from Jenkins, for 60 yards, and the second coming a pick six from Ahlers, for 38 yards. Grant Talaga would also tack on a two point conversion for the Redwolves. That is how the scoring and the game would end with the Clinton JV football team walking away from Wegner victorious by a score of 52 to 0. Great play from Bowen Fielder and Leeland Korpusik was critical to the Redwolves success on both sides of the ball tonight. Clinton will be back in action on Monday, September 21st as they travel to Onsted to take on the WIldcats.
