The Clinton JV Redwolves volleyball team continued its strong start to the season Wednesday night, traveling to Dansville for a quad match against Hope Christian White, Hope Christian Blue and the host Aggies. The Redwolves left Dansville with a clean sweep, winning all three matches and going 3-0 on the night. Clinton opened the evening against Hope Christian White and quickly established control, earning a 25-13, 25-14 victory. The Redwolves then faced Hope Christian Blue, which provided a much tougher challenge in the opening set. Clinton battled through the close first set to secure a 25-23 victory before pulling away in the second, 25-12. In the final match of the night, the Redwolves put together another solid performance against Dansville, earning a 25-20, 25-20 win to complete the sweep. One of the biggest highlights of the evening was the contributions from throughout the Clinton lineup. The Redwolves received strong play from every member of the team as they continued to build momentum and consistency on the court. Brooklynn Kranz led the Clinton attack with 22 kills, followed by Karsyn Nicholson with 15, DeLane McKinnon with 12 and Kylie Hicks with 8. Hicks paced the offense with 33 assists, while Kranz added 18. Defensively, Makena Peters led the way with an impressive 41 digs. Hicks finished with 18 digs, Kranz recorded 17 and Sophia Friske added 11. Hicks also led the Redwolves in scoring with 24 points, including 13 aces. Peters contributed 20 points and 12 aces, while Friske added 16 points and 8 aces. Harper Wright, Mady Stratz, Ella Patterson and Avah Vershum also provided strong contributions at the net, while Aby Webb, Ella Wollett and Paisley Kurowcki helped anchor the Redwolves' defensive effort. With three victories on the night, Clinton continues to build confidence and team chemistry as the season progresses. The Redwolves will return home Tuesday night when they host Onsted.
