The Clinton Redwolves JV volleyball team opened the 2026-27 season on their home court with an impressive performance, taking down both Plymouth Christian and Tecumseh in a home-opening tri-match. The Redwolves started the night with a strong showing against Plymouth Christian, earning a convincing two-set victory, 25-9 and 25-18. Clinton's combination of smart play, strong effort, and aggressive serving gave the Redwolves control throughout the match. The second match against Tecumseh proved to be a much tougher battle. After dropping the opening set 20-25, the Redwolves fought back to take the second set 25-23. Clinton then battled through a thrilling third set, coming away with a 17-15 victory to complete the comeback and secure their second win of the night. Throughout both matches, the Redwolves demonstrated strong volleyball IQ and relentless effort, consistently out-hustling their opponents and making smart plays when it mattered most. Coach Kranz was very pleased with the team's performance and their ability to finish the night with two wins.
