"The SQUAD"

The Lady Redwolves Golf Team concluded their 3rd season with the programs best finish at the MHSAA Div IV State Finals, by placing 11th/18 teams from across the state. "What a GREAT year for these young ladies and our program!! I'm so proud of these kids. The weather for all of the MHSAA finals were brutal and ours was no different, with cold weather, filled with rain was not very much fun unless you were a duck. However the team kept working hard and persevering. They were able to knock of 15 strokes off of their first round score to help solildify their spot just outside the top 10. The team was lead by Kyleigh Ramos who was able to finish in the top 10 with a gritty two rounds of 87-87=174, T9th/108. The other girls had some solid rounds considerig the course and weather. Kaylie Livingston 223; Raven Aldridge 233; Kierra Fivenson 245 and Brenna Broman 278. I don't know what to say about these young ladies, as they have surpassed my expectations all year. Just a magical season. Those parents, friends and family that supported the girls thank you!! Want to also say Than You to Rustic Glen and staff for their great hospitality all season long!! Also the people and businesses that helped out the team by participating in the annual Girls Golf Outing, put on by Kimmie, from Clinton Coney Island. So much goes on behind the scenes the team would also like to say Thank  You to our AD, Eric Claus; Athletic Secretary Shelbi Freeman; HS Principal Katy Bennett; CCS Supt Kevin Beazley and Transportation Coordinatior George Ames. The girls golf season is now in the books and we will see everyone next year!!  #COMMIT
