LCAA Singles Tournament

The CHS bowlers competed in it's final LCAA competition of the year at Hillsdale Lanes for the LCAA Singles tournament. After bowling 5 individual games, Paige Shankland finished 3rd with a 196 average and Emerald Sierer 4th with a 180 average. Cora Harsh 15th shooting a season high 182 in game 5. Kaylee Reiser 19th, Ginger Wahl 20th and Emma Shankland 23rd completed the girls team. They boys competition was competitive as Lucas Goodman placed 8th shooting a 200 average followed by Logan Roberts 12th with a 191 average. Mason Harden 16th, Emmet Bodmer-Claussen 19th, Justin Celmer 25th and Mitchel Reiser 30th completed the boys team. The 2023-2024 LCAA awards were given out after the tournament. Paige Shankland 2nd High Average (195), 4th High Game (234), 3rd High Series (440) and 1st team All Conference LCAA. Emerald Sierer 2nd Team All Conference LCAA and Cora Harsh Honorable Mention for the girls. Lucas Goodman 2nd Team All Conference LCAA and Mitchel Reiser Honorable Mention for the boys. Best of luck to all the bowlers competing at Regionals Thursday and Friday at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing. Go Redwolves!

Jamboree #5 at Blissfield

The last bowling jamboree took place on Saturday, February 9th at Rich Lanes in Blissfield. The girls bowled baker games of 118 & 157 to secure 2nd place prior to match games. Paige Shankland 217 and Faith Mathis led the team in Match 1 to boost the team to 753 total. Match 2 was a struggle with a team total of 609. Paige Shankland 179 and Kaylee Reiser 133 led the team. The girls finished 3rd for the night. The boys found themselves in 4th after the 141 & 174 baker games. Lucas Goodman 193 and Logan Roberts 184 led for the first match for a 857 team total. Justin Celmer 206 and Lucas Goodman 198 led the team for the second match. They boys finished 5th for the day. The LCAA singles on February 17th in Hillsdale will conclude the regular season for the Redwolves.

Lenawee County High School Singles Tournament

CHS bowling competed in the Lenawee County High School Singles Tournament on Sunday, February 4th at Ten Pin Alley. After 4 qualifying games, Senior Paige Shankland placed 2nd with 783 and Senior Emerald Sierer placed 7th with 630. They unfortunately found themselves vs each other in the quarterfinals. Paige defeated her teammate Emerald 323 to 227. Paige then defeated Kierra Pinter from Tecumseh 410 to 329 in the semi finals. The championship match was Paige vs Syndey Nichols from Onsted. Paige won the first match 199 to 138 finding herself up 61 pins. Paige lost the second match 167 to 246 to be defeated 366 to 384. Congrats to Paige Shankland for placing 2nd and obtaining Lenawee County Runner-up. Paige and Emerald both received 1st Team All County. Kaylee Reiser 31st, Cora Harsh 34th and Faith Mathis 39th. The boys had Mason Harden (10th) and Logan Roberts (15th) obtain 2nd Team All County. Lucas Goodman 21st, Justin Celmer 26th and Emmet Bodmer-Claussen 30th.

Jamboree #4 at Lenawee Rec

The CHS bowling teams headed to Lenawee Rec February 3rd for their 4th Jamboree. The girls took 2nd while the boys finished in 5th. The girls started off with baker games of 97 and 119 to slot them in 4th place heading into matches. Paige Shankland led the team with 221 &199 (420 series). Emerald Sierer 168 and Emma Shankland 143 &145 helped railled the team. Ginger Wahl, Kaylee Reiser and Cora Harsh added to the boost to 2nd place. The boys had baker games of 138 &170 placing them in 4th place heading into the matches. The boys equally contributed and landed into 5th at the end of the day. Justin Celmer, Mason Harden, Emmet Bodmer-Claussen, Logan Roberts, Lucas Goodman and Mitchel Reiser made up the Redwolves.

Clinton Boys Win Jamboree #3 at Hudson Lanes

The CHS Boys came home with 1st at the Hudson Jamboree. Shooting baker games of 215 & 191 landed them in first going into match games. Emmet Bodmer-Claussen shot a 232 in match 1 and Mason Harden 256 in match 2 secured the 1st place win. Logan Roberts 189, Lucas Goodman 179 and Justin Celmer 178 added to the victory. Great bowling guys!

The CHS Girls started slow with baker games of 104 & 110 placing them in 5th going into match play. The team shot a 735 combined to outscore all the teams in match 1 play. Paige Shankland 194 lead the force with Emerald Sierer 151 and Kaylee Reiser 150 joining the hunt. Match 2 was led by Paige Shankland 195, Emma Shankland 129 and Emerald Sierer 129 which help them land in 3rd place of the day.

Clinton will host Blissfield on Monday.

Clinton Redwolves Bowling Jamboree #2

Clinton Redwolves competed in their 2nd Jamboree on Friday, January 19th at Ten Pin Alley. The Varsity boys ended in 5th for the day. The team had baker games of 152 and 191. Justin Celmer shot a 216 in match 1 to lead the Redwolves to a 912 game total. Lucas Goodman's 180 led the team to a 821 team total for game 2. The Varsity girls placed 3rd. They gained steam after their baker games of 97 and 108. Match 1 was led by Paige Shankland's 151 and Emerald Sierer's 138 to aid in the team total of 606. Match 2, they all came out swinging as some teams were only pins apart. Paige Shankland 234, Emerald Sierer 176, Kaylee Reiser 155, Cora Harsh 146 and Emma Shankland 142 to a team total 853! The highest girls team total for the day to push them up to 3rd! Next up, Madison Baker Bash on Sunday.

CHS Bowing at Hillsdale's Jamboree

Clinton girls take 2nd and boys take 5th at Hillsdale's Jamboree. Senior Paige Shankland (213,190:403) spearheaded the drive. Kaylee Reiser (170), Emerald Sierer (161), new teammate Emma Shankland (161) and Cora Harsh (143) bowled well to fight for 2nd place. The boys were lead by Lucas Goodman (247), Mason Harden (187) and Logan Roberts (168). Justin Celmer (158) and Mitchel Reiser (126) continue to help the team battle.

Clinton takes on Hudson Monday at Hudson.
