Fivenson, Broman, and Howard Represent Clinton at MHSAA Regional Tournament at Rustic Glen

SALINE, Mich. – October 8, 2025 — The Clinton Redwolves Girls Golf team was well-represented at the MHSAA Division 4 Regional 24 Tournament, hosted by Clinton High School at Rustic Glen Golf Course in Saline. Competing as individuals, seniors Kierra Fivenson and Brenna Broman, along with junior Annabelle Howard, showcased the growth and determination that defined the Redwolves’ 2025 season.

Leading the way for Clinton, Fivenson fired a 95 (+23) to finish tied for fifth overall among a competitive regional field, continuing her streak of top performances in major tournaments. Her strong finish capped a stellar senior season marked by consistent scoring and outstanding leadership. In total, Kierra earned medalist in 6 tournaments throughout the season and finished 1st team all-conference in the LCAA.  

Fellow senior Brenna Broman turned in a 111 (+39) to finish 22nd overall, demonstrating her trademark composure and dependability to perform well on the course. Brenna finishes her senior season having earned 1 medalist position earlier in the year, 2 runner-up positions, and first team all-conference for the LCAA. Junior Annabelle Howard rounded out Clinton’s trio with a 121 (+49), gaining valuable postseason experience as she looks to help lead the program into next season.

Kierra, Brenna, and Annabelle represented Clinton with pride, sportsmanship, and heart,” said head coach Jon Servoss. “Our seniors have set the bar high for what it means to compete with focus and integrity, and Annabelle’s continued development, along with Meghan Gilroy and Ava Snyder, gives us great momentum moving forward.”

The individual medalist was Joslynn Ramirez (JR) of Clawson, who carded an 83 (+11) to edge Adalen Brown (SO) of Byron with an 84 (+12)St. Mary Catholic Central’s Lauren Tolliver (90) and Nora Kinsey (94) followed in third and fourth.

While Clinton did not field a full team score, hosting the regional at Rustic Glen gave the Redwolves a special opportunity to compete on their home course and celebrate a successful season. The leadership of Fivenson and Broman, combined with Howard, Gilroy, and Snyder’s promise for the future, has laid a strong foundation for the continued growth of the Clinton girls golf program.

Clinton’s Fivenson and Broman Lead the Way in LCAA Season Standings

The Lenawee County Athletic Association (LCAA) girls golf season concluded with Clinton seniors Kierra Fivenson and Brenna Broman making history at the top of the leaderboard. Fivenson captured the individual conference title with a season total of 235 points, while Broman was close behind in second with 215 points. Their consistent play throughout the season not only earned both Redwolves First Team All-Conference honors but also solidified their legacy as two of the league’s top competitors.

Joining them on the First Team All-Conference list were Hudson standouts Ellie Loar (214), Karly Rodin (207), Cassidy Frantz (199), and Eva Coleman (194), giving the Tigers a strong representation at the top.

The Second Team All-Conference honors went to Onsted’s Elizabeth Cunningham (189) and Ruby Helinski (148), Hudson’s Emma Topps (182), Adrian Madison’s Alexis Velasquez (156) and Karissa O’Neill (141), and Ida’s Alyssa Torres (153).

For Clinton, Fivenson and Broman’s one-two finish was the highlight of the season, showcasing the strength and leadership of the senior duo. Their efforts also helped the Redwolves secure a share of third place in the overall conference team standings, capping off a memorable season for the program.

Head coach Jon Servoss praised his seniors for the impact they’ve had on Clinton golf: “Kierra and Brenna have been the heart of our program. Their consistency in play and their leadership set the tone for the entire team this year. They’ve not only been outstanding competitors on the course, but also incredible role models off it. What they’ve accomplished will leave a lasting mark on Clinton girls golf.”

Hudson Wins LCAA Girls Golf Championship Tournament; Clinton’s Fivenson and Broman Go 1-2

ADRIAN – The Lenawee County Athletic Association Girls Golf Championship tournament concluded Tuesday, September 30, at Woodlawn Golf Club, where Hudson captured the team title with a winning score of  426.

Onsted finished runner-up with 457, while Ida placed third at 460. Clinton followed in fourth with 476, edging Adrian Madison (483) and Hillsdale (541) in the final standings.

While Hudson secured the tournament championship, the individual leaderboard was topped by a pair of Clinton Redwolves. Senior Kierra Fivenson claimed medalist honors with a round of 93, while fellow senior Brenna Broman finished runner-up with a 99.

Clinton also saw contributions from junior Annabelle Howard (128) and freshman Ava Snyder (156), rounding out the team’s scoring.

The Redwolves’ standout showing at Woodlawn capped a memorable LCAA season, highlighted by the dominance of seniors Kierra Fivenson and Brenna Broman at the championship. With steady contributions throughout the lineup, Clinton wrapped up league play on a high note and now looks forward to the Lenawee County Tournament on Friday and the MHSAA Regionals on Wednesday, October 8 at Rustic Glen Golf Club.

Clinton Hosts Senior Day Jamboree at Rustic Glen

The Clinton Redwolves wrapped up their home schedule by hosting the fourth LCAA Jamboree of the season on Wednesday, September 17th, at Rustic Glen Golf Club. The event also served as Senior Day, honoring Clinton’s two senior leaders, Brenna Broman and Kierra Fivenson.

Hudson captured the team title with a 211, while Clinton delivered a strong second-place finish at 221. Ida placed third with 240, followed by Adrian Madison (243), Onsted (245), and Hillsdale (254).

Clinton’s lineup was led by senior Brenna Broman, who fired a personal-best 48 (+12) to earn medalist honors in the overall individual standings. Fellow senior Kierra Fivenson also turned in a top performance, finishing sixth overall with a 55 (+19). Sophomore Meghan Gilroy and junior Annabelle Howard each carded 59s (+23), while freshman Ava Snyder added an 84 (+48) for the Redwolves.

In the overall leaderboard, Broman topped the field, followed by Hudson’s Cassidy Frantz (49) and Eva Coleman (51). Onsted’s Elizabeth Cunningham (54) and Hudson’s Karly Rodin (54) tied for fourth, with Clinton’s Fivenson rounding out the top six.

Head coach Jon Servoss praised his senior leaders after the match. “We are so proud of Brenna and Kierra for all of their hard work and dedication to this program,” Servoss said. “They’ve set a tremendous example for their teammates, not only with their play on the course but also with their leadership throughout the season. We’re grateful for everything they’ve contributed to Clinton golf.”

With Senior Day providing the backdrop, the Redwolves celebrated the impact of Broman and Fivenson, whose leadership and steady play have helped guide the program throughout the season. Clinton now turns its attention to the next LCAA Jamboree, hosted by Ida at Green Meadows Golf Course on Wednesday, September 24.

Clinton Hosts Second Annual Redwolves Invitational at Rustic Glen

The Clinton Redwolves welcomed golfers from across Michigan for the second annual Clinton Redwolves Invitational, held Friday at Rustic Glen Golf Club. The event featured a strong and diverse field, bringing together programs from Divisions 1 through 4, making it a true showcase of talent from across the state.

In a dramatic finish, Saline (Division 1) and Carlson (Division 2) tied at 414 (+126), with Saline edging Carlson in a tiebreaker to claim the team title. Davison (423) and Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard (423) followed closely behind, while Ann Arbor Greenhills (438) rounded out the top five. Host school Clinton (442) earned a strong 6th-place finish, ahead of Temperance Bedford, Adrian Madison, Davison’s second team, and Onsted.

The individual medalist was Madilyn Peterson (Sr.) of Carlson, who fired an impressive 84 (+12) to top the field.

The Redwolves were led by senior Kierra Fivenson, who continued her standout season with a 5th-place finish overall, carding a 100 (+28). Fellow senior Brenna Broman posted a 116 (+44), while sophomore Meghan Gilroy turned in a steady round of 109 (+37) to place in the top 20. Junior Annabelle Howard added a 117 (+45), and freshman Ava Snyder gained more valuable experience, closing with a 163 (+91) in her first round of 18 holes.

Head coach Jon Servoss praised the day: “This is a great event for our team to experience because it draws so many talented golfers from across the state. Rustic Glen is a fantastic host and course, and the weather was perfect for competitive golf. The final team results came down to the last hole and a tiebreaker — it doesn’t get any more exciting than that.”

Now in its second year, the Clinton Invitational has quickly become a highlight on the Redwolves’ schedule, giving the program the chance to test itself against some of the state’s top talent while also showcasing its home course.

The Redwolves now turn their attention back to league play, as they prepare to host the next LCAA Jamboree at Rustic Glen Golf Club on Wednesday, September 17th.

 

Redwolves Shine at Conference Jamboree with Top Individual Finishes

The Clinton Redwolves girls golf team turned in a strong performance on Wednesday, September 10, at the third LCAA Conference Jamboree hosted by Onsted at Devils Lake Golf Course. Clinton finished fourth overall with a team score of 244, competing against a tough field on the challenging course.

Hudson earned their third Jamboree team victory with a score of 214, followed by Ida (218) and Adrian Madison (238). The Redwolves finished ahead of Onsted (261) and Hillsdale (269).

Clinton’s senior leadership was on full display once again, as Kierra Fivenson captured medalist honors with a round of 47 (+12), while fellow senior Brenna Broman finished runner-up with a 50 (+15). Remarkably, Fivenson has now finished as medalist in every conference jamboree this season, and Broman has earned a top-five finish in each as well—demonstrating consistent dominance at the top of Clinton’s lineup.

Additional contributions came from Annabelle Howard (63), and Ava Snyder (84), rounding out the team’s scorecard.

Head coach Jon Servoss praised his team’s effort: “Kierra and Brenna’s finish as 1 and 2 across the entire field is very impressive. On a difficult course like Devils Lake, those top finishes mean a lot. Annabelle and Ava also remain consistent and steady contributors to our success. I’m proud of the entire team’s effort and how they continue to battle each week.”

The Redwolves now turn their focus to hosting duties, beginning with the Redwolves Invitational on Friday, September 12 at Rustic Glen Golf Club, followed by the next LCAA Conference Jamboree on Wednesday, September 17, also at Rustic Glen.

Redwolves Edge Gryphons in Tight Match at Washtenaw Golf Club

The Clinton Redwolves girls golf team earned a hard-fought win on Friday, September 5, defeating the Ann Arbor Greenhills Gryphons in a dual match at Washtenaw Golf Club. Clinton posted a team score of 220 (+76), edging Greenhills by eight strokes, as the Gryphons finished at 228 (+84).

The Redwolves showed consistency across the lineup on a very difficult Washtenaw course, where windy conditions made scoring even more of a challenge. Senior Kierra Fivenson led the way with a round of 46 (+10) to earn medalist honors, while fellow senior Brenna Broman finished close behind in second place with a 49 (+13). Sophomore Meghan Gilroy added a 62 (+26), junior Annabelle Howard shot a 63 (+27), and freshman Ava Snyder rounded out Clinton’s scoring with a 78 (+42).

Head coach Jon Servoss praised his team’s resilience, saying, “I’m really proud of the way the team stayed focused during the challenging conditions. Kierra and Brenna gave us a great start and helped to put us ahead early, but Greenhills kept it close down the stretch. On the final holes, Annabelle’s magnificent tee shot on the par-3 ninth, which she finished with a par, was the key to securing the victory. It was a huge moment in the match”

The Redwolves will look to keep building momentum in their next match on Wednesday, September 10, when they travel to the third LCAA Conference Jamboree hosted by Onsted at Devils Lake Golf Course.

Clinton Earns Second Straight Runner-Up Finish at LCAA Jamboree

The Clinton Redwolves girls golf team turned in another strong performance on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, finishing second at the Lenawee County Athletic Association (LCAA) jamboree hosted by Madison at Wolf Creek Golf Club.

Hudson claimed first place with a team score of 212, while Clinton followed in second with a score of 223. Adrian Madison finished third at 237, with Ida (240), Onsted (245), and Hillsdale (286) rounding out the standings.

The result marked Clinton’s second consecutive runner-up finish in conference play, keeping the Redwolves firmly in contention near the top of the league standings.

Senior Kierra Fivenson led the way once again, earning medalist honors with a round of 49including a notable birdie on the difficult hole #3. The victory marks her second straight medalist finish in LCAA play, establishing her as one of the top golfers in the league. Fellow senior Brenna Broman carded a 52, securing a top-five finish for the second straight jamboree as well.

Clinton’s lineup added steady contributions from sophomore Meghan Gilroy (60), junior Annabelle Howard (62), and freshman Ava Snyder (80).

With back-to-back second-place team finishes and consistent standout play from their leaders, the Redwolves are off to a promising start in conference competition. The team will take on Ann Arbor Greenhills Friday, September 5th at Washtenaw Golf Club and then the third LCAA jamboree will be hosted by Onsted at Devils Lake Golf Course on Wednesday, September 10th.  

Clinton Redwolves Shine at LCAA Hudson Jamboree

The Clinton Redwolves girls golf team opened their league season with a strong showing at the first LCAA Jamboree, hosted by Hudson at Schaffer’s Evergreen Golf Course. Clinton finished second overall with a team score of 207, trailing host Hudson, who captured first with a score of 197. Onsted (235), Ida (253), Adrian Madison (258), and Hillsdale (266) rounded out the standings.

Individually, Clinton senior Kierra Fivenson led the entire field with the low round of the day, firing a 44 to secure medalist honors. Fellow senior Brenna Broman also turned in a steady performance, carding a 49, which tied her for fourth overall.

The Redwolves’ depth was on display as well. Sophomore Meghan Gilroy posted a 57, while junior Annabelle Howard recorded a season-low 57 of her own. Freshman Ava Snyder, competing in her first high school match, finished with an 86, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the team effort.

The Redwolves’ balanced play demonstrated their consistency and poise, as they continue to build momentum early in the season. With strong veteran leadership and contributions across the roster, Clinton has positioned itself as a contender in the LCAA race.

The team will look to carry this success into next week’s jamboree, hosted by Madison on Wednesday, September 3rd at Wolf Creek Golf Club.

Clinton Redwolves Gain Valuable Experience at Dan Young Invitational

The Clinton Redwolves Girls Golf team hit the course again on Wednesday, August 20th, competing in the Dan Young Invitational at Fox Hills Golf and Banquet Center in Plymouth, MI. The prestigious event featured some of the state’s strongest programs, including Division 1 powers Northville, Salem, Rochester Adams, and Novi, along with Dexter, who recently hosted Clinton in their season opener.

The Redwolves turned in another steady performance, led by senior Kierra Fivenson, who shot a 106 (+34). Fellow senior Brenna Broman followed closely with a 113 (+41), while junior Annabelle Howard carded a 134 (+62). All three showed consistency with their season-opening rounds at the Dexter Invitational—an encouraging sign given Fox Hills’ more difficult layout and the strength of the field.

Head coach Jon Servoss praised his squad for their determination. “The team went out and competed hard,” Servoss said. “It’s a great learning opportunity to play in a tournament like this, and I was proud of how they carried themselves against such strong programs.”

Northville won the event with a 295, followed by Dexter (326) and Salem (374).

After back-to-back tournaments to open the season, the Redwolves have shown early resilience and steady play in challenging conditions—momentum they will look to build on as the year continues.

Clinton Redwolves Open Season with Strong Showing in Rainy Conditions

The Clinton Redwolves Girls Golf team teed off their 2025 season at the Dexter Invitational, hosted by Dexter High School at Hudson Mills Metro Park Golf Course on Tuesday, August 19th. Battling steady rain and tough course conditions, the Redwolves turned in a determined performance, finishing with a team score of 462 to place sixth in a strong field of eight schools.

Dexter claimed the top spot with a 322, followed by Chelsea (392) and Lansing Catholic (398). Clinton’s score put them ahead of Temperance Bedford (486) and Monroe (514), a solid result for the opening match of the season.

The Redwolves were led by sophomore Meghan Gilroy, who carded the team’s low round with a 103 (+32), earning a 13th-place individual finish in the field. Seniors Kierra Fivenson and Brenna Broman followed with rounds of 108 (+37) and 112 (+41) respectively, while junior Annabelle Howard rounded out the scoring with a 139 (+68).

Head coach Jon Servoss praised the team’s effort, noting how well they handled both the rainy weather and the nerves of their first competition. “The team showed a lot of resilience today. Competing in the rain isn’t easy, but they stayed focused and played with great energy,” Servoss said.

With key returning leaders and strong underclass contributions, the Redwolves have a promising foundation for the season. Their ability to stay competitive under difficult conditions is an encouraging sign as they look ahead to their upcoming matches.
