The Clinton varsity football team saw its season come to an end Friday with a 38-28 loss at the hands of Monroe Saint Mary’s Catholic Central in a division 7 district final.
The Redskins were paced by Clay Langer-Freeman who paced the offense with 90 yards on 13 carries. Jack Voll added 84 yards on 14 carries, two touchdowns, and a two-point conversion. Dylan Settles added a rushing and a passing touchdown to Collin Stapnowski.
Langer-Freeman led the defense with 18 total tackles. Voll and Christian Korte added eight, while Jeff Konz, Brayden Randolph and Noah Deshano each added seven.
The team finished with a record of 8-3, including its first playoff win since 2015.
