The Clinton football team fell to league-leading Whiteford last Friday, 48-6. Dylan Settles paced the Redskin offense with 107 yards on 14 carries, including a 35-yard touchdown run. Settles was 4-for-9 through the air for 49 yards.
Davey Campbell paced the Redskin defense with 9 total tackles, followed by Jack Voll, Noah Deshano and Jeff Konz with six each. Voll also finished with two tackles for loss.
Noah Comar added two kick returns for 47 yards, including a 39-yard return on the opening kick. Collin Stapnowski hauled in three passes for 41 yards.
Clinton will close out the regular season at home against Madison Friday, and will then await their draw for the MHSAA state playoffs.
