The Clinton varsity football team could not overcome mistakes in dropping a 42-29 loss to Blissfield Friday Night.
Dylan Settles led the Clinton offensive attack with 153 yards on 14 carries and three touchdowns. Jack Voll added the other score, while both Settles and Brayden Randolph added two-point conversions. Jonathan Baughey was 1-for-2 on extra points.
Clay Langer led the way defensively with 10 total tackles (7 solo), while Billy Baker added six solo tackles. Langer also starred on special teams, finishing with kick-off returns of 44, 34, and 17 yards.
The Redskins will open TCC play at Whitmore Lake Friday.
