The Clinton Middle School Boys' and Girls' Track teams finished their seasons with duplicate 3rd place finishes at the TCC Middle School track meet at Sand Creek High School on May 16th. The Boys scored 84 points and the girls scored 83 points. Mia Struck won the girls 400m dash in 1:05.7. Cassie McNatt won the 55m hurdles in 10.4 seconds and Griffin Faulkner won the pole vault with a height of 6' 3". Placing first for the boys were the 400m relay team  of Zak Shadley, Kent McCombs, Brennan Schnaidt and Derek Tomalak (51.3 seconds)and the 800m relay team of Logan Badge, Nate Smith, McCombs and Tomalak (1:48.6). Second place finishes for the boys in the individual events were Zak Shadley (long jump 16' 2"), Kent McCombs (pole vault 7' 6") and Matthew Johnson (shot put 37' 4"). Mackenzie Brandvold finished second in the 200m hurdles in 33.8 seconds. Brandvold also placed forth in the 55m hurdles. Other placers for the girls team were Shaylin VanZandt in the 70m dash (4th - 10.6) and long jump (3rd  -13' 3 3/4"). Brynn Frederick placed 5th in the high jump at 4' 3" and Rebecca Ureche was 5th in the 55m hurdles in 11.03. Third place finishers for the boys were Garrett Beazley in the shot put (36' 6.5") and Zak Shadley in the 200m dash (26.6 seconds). Other placers for the boys were Devon Curry in the 55m hurdles (5th 9.4 seconds), Logan DeVitto in the 400m dash (6th 1:04.2) and Fabian Ramirez in the 800m run (2:34.5). The boys' 1600m relay team of Badge, Beazley, Smith and Ramirez was second with a season best time of 4:19.2.
