The CMS Boys beat Sand Creek 105-35. The Clinton Shot Putters continued their great season by sweeping the event, Johnson won with a throw of 34-4, Badge took 2nd, and Beazley took 3rd. Zak Shadley won the long jump, jumping 16-9, Max Hampel took 3rd. The Clinton boys swept the high jump Nate Smith’s winning jump was 5-2, Schnaidt took 2nd, and VanSickle took 3rd. Kent McCombs won the pole vault at 6-6, Hoffman tied for 2nd. Eric Neff took 2nd in the 3200M run. Devon Curry took 2nd in the 55M hurdles. Clinton swept the 800M run, Fabian Ramirez took 1st, Hoffman 2nd, and Gilson 3rd. Caden Zbikowski won a very competitive 1600M run, with Justin Celmer getting a point for the team by taking 3rd. Brennan Schnaidt took 2nd in the 100M dash. Nate Smith won the 400M dash and Logan DeVitto showed  great effort taking 3rd. Logan Badge took 2nd in the 70M dash. Curry and Keith took 1st and 2nd in the 200M hurdles. Zak Shadley won the 200M dash, Kaleb Pfaffinger took 2nd, and Lucas Richie tied for third. Clinton Boys won all 4 relays and did a great job Wednesday night against Sand Creek.

The CMS Girls’ team lost to Sand Creek 50-87. Scoring points in field events for the girls were Brodie in shot put, VanZandt and Brandvold in long jump, Welch in high jump with a new PR of 4’0’’ and Faulkner in pole vault with a new school record of 6’0’’. For the running events, E. Shankland placed 2nd in the 3200m run, McNatt placed 1st in the 55m hurdles and Huggins placed 3rd in the 800m run. P. Shankland took 2nd in the 1600m run while Struck keeps her 1st place finish in the 400m dash. Brandvold (2nd) and Starnes (3rd) represented the girls in the 200m hurdles, while Frederick and Gregg placed 2nd and 3rd in the 200m dash. Clinton girls won the two distance relays (3200m and 1600m). The girls ran well against are large Sand Creek team.
