The Clinton Redskin Co-Ed track teams were in action on Tuesday competing against Summerfield and Sand Creek. The girls lost a close meet to Summerfield by the score of 70-61 while falling to Sand Creek 84-50. The boys split two very close meets defeating Sand Creek 73-64 while falling to Summerfield 71-66. For the girls, Amanda Schaare won both the shot put and discus while Abi Elwart won both the 1600m and 800m runs. Tessia Struck won the 200m and was part of the winning 800m relay team of Paige Studnicka, Megan Arntz and Lindsey Burton. Burton also won the long jump and Alissa King won the 3200m run to lead the girls. On the boys side, winners included Lucas Crumb in the 110/300m hurdles, Trevor Underwood won the 400m ( seasons best 53.8), and Tyler Szczepanski won the 800m (seasons best 2:14). The 400m relay team of Alex Wylie, Ian Root, Noah DeShano and Colton Freeman were victorious as was the 800m relay team of Wylie, Freeman, DeShano and Underwood. The 1600m relay team of Szczepanski, Ryan Skiff, Cooper Renaldi and Crumb capped off the night with a nice win. The teams will compete Friday at the Manchester Metrics.
