The Clinton 8th Grade Girls Volleyball team swept the Britton/Deerfield Patriots on Monday, October 14 with scores of 25-15, 25-14, and 25-22.  Kendall Phillip led the team with 100% serving, 11 points, and 6 aces. Other 100% servers were Chloe Drew with 4 points (2 aces) and Mackenzie Huggins with 3 points (3 aces).  Other scores included Stella Starnes with 9 points (7 aces), Rebeca Ureche with 7 points (4 aces), Sammy Starnes with 4 points (2 aces), Kyleigh Ramos with 4 points (2 aces), Carly Bruno with 2 points (1 ace), Nalani Schanz with 2 points (1 ace) and Robin Mull contributed 1 points (1 ace). Cylee Elkins led the Redskins with 3 kills.  Shaylin VanZandt, Kendall Phillip, Elena Rosas, and Rebeca Ureche each connected for 1 kill apiece. Nalani Schanz, Kyleigh Ramos, Chloe Drew, and Stella Starnes were responsible for setting up the offense. The Redskins are now 5-5-2 and 4-4 in the TCC. The Redskins will travel to Britton/Deerfield on Wednesday, October 16 to play the Patriots again.     Game time is 5:30 PM.
