The Clinton 8th Grade Girls Volleyball team lost a close match on Wednesday, October 9 to the Madison Trojans.  The scores of the sets were 23-25, 25-15, and 22-25.  Nalani Schanz was the leading scorer for the Redskins with 15 points and 9 aces.  Other scorers included Sammy Starnes with 6 points (4 aces), Rebeca Ureche with 6 points (1 ace), Stella Starnes with 5 points (3 aces), Kyleigh Ramos with 4 points (3 aces), and Robin Mull and Kendall Phillip both with 2 points.  Sammy and Stella Starnes each registered 4 kills a piece at the net.  Shay VanZandt and Rebeca Ureche each contributed 2 kills.  Nalani Schanz, Chloe Drew, and Kyleigh Ramos shared setting duties for the match.  The Redskins are now 4-5-2 and 3-4 in the TCC.  The Redskins hope to rebound next week when they face Britton/Deerfield for their annual Pink Out Cancer Fundraiser Game.  Game time is 5:30 PM.
