Clinton’s 7th grade volleyball team dropped two of their games to Whiteford on Wednesday September 26th. The scores were 21-25, 19-25, and 25-16. Despite some nice service including 5 aces from Stella Starnes the Redskins couldn’t take the lead. Kendall Phillip had another great game.

The Clinton 8th grade girls volleyball team lost to the Whiteford Bobcats on Wednesday, September 26 with scores of 15-25, 17-25 and 12-25. Natalie Abram led the team in serving with 5 points and 3 aces.   Other contributors were Ella Graves with 3 points (3 aces), Emma Fair 3 points (1 ace), Mia Struck 2 points, Ava Ormsby 2 points, Noelle Riley 2 points, and Aryianna Clark and Ruby Sierer both had 1 point.   Ava Ormsby, Riley Hack and Veronica Martinez are credited with good serve reception. Breanna Ramos, Noelle Riley, Sophie Sheneman and Mia Struck led the offense with assists. Noelle Riley, Brynn Frederick and Emma Fair are credited with aggressive play on the net.    The girls are away on Monday, October 1 to face the Britton-Deerfield Patriots. The team is 4-3 on the season and 2-2 in the TCC.
