After last nights heart-breaker, Clinton unleashed on Onsted 16-1 in a 4 inning mercy first game and 16-1 in a 3 inning mercy rule. Kendall Phillip threw the first game, allowing 2 hits, 2 walks, and 8 strikeouts. Phillip was 2-3 with an RBI. Emma Fair was 3-4 with a 2 RBI double. Kyleigh Ramos was 2-4 with 4 RBI. Noelle Riley added a 2-RBI single. Davia Welch was 2-4 with an RBI. Robin Mull was 2-3 with 3 RBI%u2026 Taryn Hernandez was 1-2 with an RBI and Ava Ormsby added a double to the stats. Sydney Schuler took the win from the circle in game 2, allowing 3 hits and had 3 strikeouts. Despite collecting 10 walks and hit batters, Clinton put the ball in play when they could. Ormsby was 2-2 with an RBI. Hernandez went 2-3 with an RBI. Kyleigh Ramos, Phillip, and Riley were each 1-2 with an RBI. Clinton heads north to Reese to play in their invitational Saturday, then will prepare for their pre-district game against Blissfield at Manchester on Tuesday.
