The 8th Grade Boys team traveled to take on the Bulldogs of Summerfield last night and were defeated by the score of 45-28. "Again our team motto this year is #getbetter and although it was a loss the team did some really good things during the game last night. We played some very good defense after the first quarter with our press. After the 1st quarter we were down 20-8, but the last 3 quarters we played them to a score of 25-20. Just proud of their efforts, but we have to find a way to finish at the rim, as the boys got good looks but just couldn't find a way to get in through the hoop. As we continue to grow and get better, these are things we will continue to work on. Leading the team in scoring tonight was Teddy Pizio 10 pts, Brandon Johnson 5 pts, Nate Page 4 pts, Gavin Shores 3 pts, Jack Dettling 2 pts, Jacob Kirk 2 pts and Bryce Rosacrans with 2 pts. We have a busy week next week, as the team has 4 games. We play at Home on Monday Dec 2nd vs BD, Wednesday Dec 4th @ Madison and then we are at Madison for our annual 8th grade county tournament with 2 games on Saturday December 7th. Our first game will be at 3:15 vs BD." stated Coach Ramos
