The Clinton Varsity Football team earned at least a share of the Tri-County Conference title with a 44-20 win over defending-champion Whiteford at Wegner Field Friday. 

Senior Quarterback Dylan Settles led the way offensively with 160 rushing yards on 11 carries and one score. Settles connected with Jack Voll for two passing touchdowns of 63 and 29 yards. Voll was solid all-around on the evening, with the two touchdown receptions, 65 rushing yards on eight carries and a score, and a 43-yard kick return on a Whiteford onside that set up a key fourth-quarter touchdown to all but secure the win. 

Randolph added two rushing touchdowns on the evening, and led the defense with 13 solo tackles (24 total). Will Felts had 7 tackles, and George Ames, Noah DeShano, and Settles each added six. 

The victory moves Clinton to 7-0 (5-0 TCC), with its sight set on its first undefeated regular season since 2015. The team can clinch the title outright with a win over Madison at Adrian College’s Docking Stadium Friday night.
