Clinton Sweeps Ida to Stay Unbeaten in LCAA Play

The Clinton Redwolves volleyball team continued their dominant run through the Lenawee County Athletic Association on Tuesday evening, sweeping Ida in straight sets to remain unbeaten in league play. The Redwolves’ combination of steady setting, strong defense, and balanced offense kept the Bluestreaks off rhythm throughout the match.
Setter Avery Loftis led the way with a standout all-around performance, recording 11 kills, 17 assists, and 11 digs, while fellow setter Addison Loftis added 7 kills, 11 assists, and 13 digs.
In the middle, Bella Bannon contributed 4 kills, 4 digs, and 1 block, and Abby Sheneman added 1 kill, 1 dig, and 2 solo blocks to help anchor the net. Outside hitters Rylee Pepper (7 kills, 10 digs) and Makenna Gore (2 kills) rounded out a balanced offensive attack.
Defensively, libero Brailey Gibson turned in a stellar night, leading the back row with 48 digs and 1 ace, while defensive specialists Calli Kruger and Lila Kennedy each added 10 digs, with Kruger also notching 1 ace.
