Redwolves Take Two at Tecumseh Quad, Improve to 22-4

The Clinton Redwolves volleyball team continued their strong season Thursday night, picking up victories over Monroe and Battle Creek Lakeview while dropping a hard-fought match to Tecumseh at the Tecumseh Quad. The two wins improved Clinton’s overall record to 22-4, as the Redwolves showcased their depth and balance against quality competition.
Setter Avery Loftis turned in another impressive performance, recording 13 kills, 55 assists, and 30 digs to lead the Clinton attack. Her sister, setter Addison Loftis, added a stellar all-around effort with 16 kills, 34 assists, and 40 digs, keeping the offense running smoothly throughout the night.
In the middle, Abby Sheneman was a force at the net with 19 kills, hitting .318, along with 7 digs and 2 solo blocks, while Bella Bannon tallied 18 kills, hitting .208, with 7 digs and a block.
On the outside, Rylee Pepper and Makenna Gore each contributed 13 kills, with Pepper also recording 1 solo block and 5 digs.
Defensively, libero Brailey Gibson anchored the back row with 49 digs and 3 aces, while defensive specialists Calli Kruger (21 digs, 1 ace) and Lila Kennedy (17 digs) provided steady support. Zoey Utz also added 3 digs and 2 aces to round out the Redwolves’ strong defensive effort.
